JANE CORNER

Jane is a local artist best known for her expressive paintings. Alongside her work on canvas, she creates distinctive ceramic pieces that carry the same vibrancy, colour and textural energy as her paintings.

“I studied at Brighton Art College, graduating in 1986 with a BA[Hons]degree in Expressive Arts". My Inspiration comes from my surroundings, living in the New Forest and being a 10 minute drive from the Sea! I am obsessed with trying to evoke movement and passion in my work, I like to experiment with different materials in order to create something that is tactile and fluid”.
